Hi, I attend Govan Citadel in Gods own country Scotland. I would like to pass on my best wishies to the band during this exciting year of their own 125 celebrations as we at GCB are celebrating our own bands 125th.  Please let Percy & Hazel Somerville know that 'Frollo' and family says Hello (they'll know who you mean).  God bless and best wishies with your continued witness in Norwich. Greetings from 'Down Under' and in particular from Brisbane in sunny Queensland.  A number of names in the band are 'blasts from the past' from  my days in London in the mid to late 50's prior to my emigrating to Aus.  Doug Beattie and Bob Munn to mention only two.  I sat with Ron Giles in the Wood Green Band.  Is he still of this world.  I would love to hear from him.  Keep up the good work.  Regards.  John Allen

No, I've not gone "Glory" yet and still able to send you New Year greetings from the fellows in the South London Fellowship Band. When does Wally celebrate his centenary with the band, this year or next?
Bless you all

George.

Excellent website . have visited Norwich on several occasions with different bands. 1960's with Tottenham, 1965 Earlcourt and 1974 with Canadian Staff Band. I recognise many of the names of the current band and note that younger members carrying on the tremendous standard and tradition of the NCB. Some of the band may remember me I played Soprano in all of the bands listed above. Now playing in the reservists band on Horn. Interesting to note that Deryck Diffey is playing cornet, Deryck and I had some graet days in Tottenham and the CSB. Anyway, great to see that everything is under control at Norwich.
